Modern Zen Wedding

September 6, 2014

This June wedding was full of geometric shapes and clean lines. From the bamboo arbor to the various sizes and shaped vases on the tables, this wedding screamed modern zen- and we loved it!

The wedding colors of greens, whites and pops of maroon complimented the neutral palate of the Stone Mill at the New York Botanical Garden. This modern zen wedding was full of natural elements which generated a peaceful and gorgeous wedding. All the guests were able to reflect on living in the moment when two people express their love for one another.

Bamboo arbor used for this Modern Zen Wedding This unique wedding arbor we hand-crafted was made with real bamboo stalks and made us feel like architects for a day!
The chair bouquets, created with simple white dahlias and rolled greens, complimented the clean look for the outdoor wedding ceremony.
Our expert floral designers had so much fun using their creativity in placing the orchid blooms all over the table. The flat, maroon escort cards with white calligraphy completed the look of the zen escort card table which was also filled with sand gardens, moss, rocks and floating candles.  The bridal bouquets were full of texture with mini green hydrangeas, roses, and pearl pins in stephanotis blooms.
The creative wedding centerpieces were each unique and balanced with varying sized vases. The floating candles produced an intimate glow throughout the room.

Tappan Hill Wedding

September 17, 2012
Tappan Hill Mansion is beautiful in any season but summer is especially lovely.
The rolling green hills provide countless spots for wonderful photos but
the Bride’s entrance on this grand staircase is always breathtaking!
Marissa’s beautiful bouquet was made of peonies, garden roses, freesia and lisianthus.

The elegant color scheme was white, cream and gray/green with a hint of blue in the bridesmaids’ bouquets and reception flowers.

The guests entered to this this gorgeous escort card table!
The candlelit sunset ceremony featured a sophisticated up-lit chuppah
with hanging tea lights.
The tables had unique configurations of several glass cubes, cylinders or rectangles.
Thanks to H&H Photography and our own A. Hernandez for capturing the beauty of the day.

A Beautiful Country Wedding

August 9, 2012

We traveled to Beaverkill, New York for Marcela and Marty’s recent wedding. The scenery was breathtaking,  the day was beautiful,  and the bride was radiant! I worked closely with the Marcela to achieve her vision of very natural “just picked” flowers for her decor.

The flowers for each table were arranged in birch covered vases, each having a unique selection of pastel flowers. Borrowing the theme from the surrounding area, the tables were named for
fly fishing lures.

What a gorgeous spot for a wedding reception!
There were many lovely details in this wedding – including halos for flower girls.

Tanya & Jon

June 21, 2012
This lovely wedding began at the historic “Little Church Around the Corner”
on East 29th Street. Because the church decor is so unique and detailed, we decided to keep the ceremony flowers “quiet” in tones of green, cream and white.
The guests moved to the Stone Mill at the New York Botanical Garden to celebrate.
Tanya and Jon chose a literary theme for their table decor – fun for all!
We really enjoyed working with them to carry out their vision.

Late Summer Tappan Hill Wedding

September 21, 2011
This late Summer wedding at Tappan Hill was the perfect mix of elegant and earthy. Green ivy, paired with white calla lilies and masses of cream roses, adorned the birch-based chuppah for the outdoor garden ceremony. Inside, the guests were surprised with bright orange spray roses, mini orchids and large terracotta callas in alternating high and low centerpieces. Burnished copper containers with amber and mercury glass votive candles created a soft, warm glow in the room adding a level of sophistication to this beautiful event.

Lisa and Danny’s Wedding at Tappan Hill

August 8, 2011
Lisa and Danny’s June wedding at Tappan Hill was pure, classic elegance. Our industry has recently been flooded with overly-decorated and overly-themed weddings, and this affair really brings us back to our love for understated beauty. The fresh and simple green, cream and white color palate adds a touch of softness to the sleek-dressed black on black wedding party. Alternating high and low table arrangements are surrounded by floating white candles, creating a soft glow in the room. Lisa and Danny are a breathtaking couple with sophisticated taste – we feel refreshed, recharged and inspired. Thanks for letting us create this day for you!

A special thank you to Michelle Hayes Photography for all of the stunning pictures above.

3 West Club Wedding

February 1, 2011
We just got our hands on some gorgeous shots from a wedding we designed back in July at 3 West Club. The all white flowers complimented by green accents and sleek styling were perfect for a hot July night at a classic midtown club.
